The founder of the group is a history teacher and PhD student. His research is focused on history and civics education. He saw patterns through his own research of gaps in history curriculum, and teacher understanding. Other board members include two educators with history degrees and a computer programmer who is also passionate about history, philosophy, and politics.

Our Goal

We believe that thriving democracies depend on citizens who can anchor their worldviews in accurate historical information, spot misinformation before it takes root, and recognize financial or ideological scams that prey on civic ignorance. Our website therefore pursues a three-part mission:

  1. Deliver evidence-based history. We curate primary sources, balanced analyses, and classroom-ready lessons so learners understand not just what happened, but why competing interpretations matter for today’s debates.
  2. Strengthen civic reasoning. By pairing rigorous content with critical-thinking tools—logic checks, media-literacy guides, and discussion protocols—we help visitors evaluate claims, weigh evidence, and participate confidently in democratic processes.
  3. Protect against deception. From phishing schemes to propaganda tactics, we publish plain-language explainers and step-by-step safeguards that equip families, educators, and community members to avoid financial fraud and information scams.

When accurate history, sharp reasoning, and practical fraud awareness come together, people are better prepared to vote wisely, hold institutions accountable, and build a more just, resilient society.
