In Iran, the government is using artificial intelligence (AI) to monitor its people. AI is a type of computer program that can quickly analyze large amounts of information. Iran uses cameras, computers, and special software to keep track of what people do online and in public places.

How Does AI Help Iran Monitor People?

The government places security cameras in cities, stores, and even schools. These cameras connect to powerful computers with special hardware that helps process large amounts of data. Here are some of the main computer parts used in monitoring devices:

These parts work together with AI software to identify people’s faces, read their messages, and even listen to what they say. The government can use this to find and arrest people who speak out against their leaders.

Other Ways AI is Used

Some people worry that AI takes away their freedom and privacy. Others believe the government should only use AI for safety and not to control people’s daily lives.

  1. 1-Computer parts that are used in the AI monitoring systems CPU, RAM, Motherboard, and storage devices. What the cpu does is process videos and is the brain of this device. Also what the RAM does is store information temporarily so it can track images and sounds quickly. What the motherboard does is connect all the computer parts. And what the storage device does is store people’s information and videos/pictures.

2-The AI helps with tracking people down and seeing if they are doing something against the law or if they are a criminal and they need to find someone.

3-People worry because they think civilians can’t have peace or freedom and also they can’t do anything really on the internet because of it, and it keeps track of everything you do and all your information.

4-AI can track people online by cameras on people’s devices and photos they take. And by seeing what people do on the internet, and lastly certain software.
